So, it's been very warm here in Alabama for a few weeks, and the other day, I went to take my doors off. Passenger side came off as usual. But I got to the driver door, and I could NOT get it off to save my life. I have never had the bolts on inside the hinges, and i checked to make sure one wasn't on either of the hinges.
Anyone had this problem? Or any idea what the problem might be? It was to the point of rocking my jeep back and forth as I tried to pick it up off the hinges. it WOULD NOT budge.

x2 i can't get mine off for the life of me. i even sprayed them with white lithium grease last fall when i put them on. HELP!!

Before I put mine on last year I sanded down the pins and reamed out the holes and greased all. It should make it easy this year.

To get the doors off, try using a jack with a block of wood on top to lift it up. And then grease the pins before you put the doors back on.

you reamed out the bushing? do you mean reamed like cleaned out or reamed like drilled/grinded out?

My oem bushing looked like crap so when I swap on my halfs this season I'll be replacing the old ones with some new delrin bushings.

i just can't imagine how the driver door got that way, and the passenger door didnt.

Have you had them off before? When was the last time they were off? Did you use white lithium grease before mounting them for any duration?

I had the same problem. I put some 3N1 oil in between the hinge and worked it back and forth. Finaly I got it to come out. Then I just sanded the pin down a little before I put them back in. They come off great now.

If you do this option, be careful not to buckle the door. You will not be pleased with the result.
