Default Rubicon parts on a Sahara

To start off with, i have searched / browsed the forum and have found a little info, i am just trying to confirm and get info specific to what i want to do.

I have a friend w/ a 2012 Rubicon 2 door who is , well, loaded and about to do a bunch of upgrades.

I have a 2010 2 door Sahara.

What stock parts on his Rubicon would be an upgrade for my sahara?

I have the rockrails, care of a local and very nice member.

Other than that my jeep is stock.

Any advice / opinions would be greatly appreciated !

Thanks

You could use the shocks and springs off of your friends Rubin, and if he is switching out axles you can take those too.

You could grab his Dana 44 front axle, lockers, and if your lucky his 4.1 transfer case. I wouldn't bother with the electronic sway bar discos

Default Sahara

Man, get everything he doesn't want! Sell what you don't use, you did say he was loaded, right?

Yeah, but i wont be taking advantage of him. I'm going to pay for the aprts, it will just be a sweet deal.
Are the rims smaller? I have 18's and am not looking forward to when i have to buy new tires. I cant believe how much the price goes up for 18" tires.

I've always preferred the black fender flares from the X and Rubicon over the matched paint that the Sahara's have.

Does the Sahara have a hitch receiver, tow hooks? might consider snagging those.
