I've trialed OziExplorer on my GPS. (hacked Omnitech to access OS)

For everything I've tried, it seems to be the best of all worlds.
I can easily make maps for anything I don't have.
(My first trial was to take it to Japan last year and it worked admirably.)

So, has anyone here ever used OziExplorerCE for any extended time?
Pros, cons, concerns, etcetera?

I'm about ready to pull the trigger, since I want to have it for the Great Lakes fall meet at the Badlands.

(My trusty Dell Axim has also done some GPS work, but I don't want to risk losing/damaging it on the trail.)
