Default Big Bear Trails

Hi all! Does anyone know which trails that overlook the lake?

I'm curious about this too. I'm going to big bear this weekend. never been before. Are there 4x4 trails to the lake that might be less crowded than others etc

Gold Mountain overlooks the lake at the top of the trail. I think they'll all be pretty crowded this weekend though.

Pilot Rock had some Great Lake views, it also seemed a bit less traveled. Not sure if it's arrowhead or BB Lake we were seeing though, still it's really close.

That would not be Big Bear. I did not think you could see Lake Arrowhead either from the Pilot Rock trail, but it has been a few years and the forest has gotten thinner.

Like many have stated, Gold Mountain has some good views.

You're correct, it's Silverwood you see from Pilot Rock.

There's the view from the top of one of the hills on the pilot rock trail. I took this during big bear forest fest.

Pretty sure that's Silverwood. Lake Arrowhead is further west.

Default Skyline

Skyline Trail. I believe it's 2N10. Long road that spies the lake in a few places. Very scenic trail/road.
