Looks like we have a few folks that want to go so this will be fun. We can decide at the last minute which trail to run, but if the majority of the group has not been on a Hammers trail yet, then I will likely recommend Clawhammer or Upper and Lower Big Johnson. Either way, I would recommend removing hard doors, as you will need great visibility and to reduce the risk of body damage.

Everyone please keep in mind that there will likely still be some rattlesnakes out and about. At least there have been in the past at this time of year, so keep a sharp eye!

Yeah Caroline, I hear you about the air conditioning, which is why Beast still has factory air. You can do Clawhammer with your doors on as long as you have very good spoting - I'm sure we will find someone capable of leading us through.

I've learned the hard way to make a point of having GOOD spotters. But - worst-case scenario... a little more body damage will just add more "character."
