JK License Plate Relocation Kit from Barnes 4wd!
JK License Plate Relocation Kit
The Barnes 4wd JK license plate relocation kit are for those with a Jeep Wrangler JK that want to move their license plate from the stock location to the center of their tailgate. The factory license plate mount is in a very vulnerable position on the Jeep JKs and is very susceptible to damage on the trail, this kit is a great way to get your plate up out of harm’s way. This kit can be used with or without a license plate as well, this is a great option for those that are removing there factory tire carrier, running an aftermarket tire carrier, and want to cover up the holes left behind after removal. The kit includes a tailgate plate that will bolt in place of the factory tire carrier, 2 flush mount plugs to plug the holes left after removing the rubber factory tire bumpers, and 1 flush mount plug to plug the hole left after removing the wiring harness for the third brake light. All year model JKs can use this kit, however the older year models with the smaller vent will have to drill two new holes in the top of their license plate to accommodate mounting. The tailgate plate will arrive unfinished and will require your choice of paint, powder coat, etc.
