Remove torx screws (4 or 5) on back side of stock third brake light & extension arm. Pull off light and unplug. Loop wires out of the way and cut where desired using sawzall or cut off tool.

These look really cool. Anyone have a pic in darkness? Didn't see one on the previous pages and wanted to be sure they're bright enough.

Plenty bright for day time. If they are this visible with this much ambient light, even more visible with less ambient light. Like the pic above.
