Got dropped off today from brown santa! I'll set it up tomorrow and will give a post install (flash) update after I burn up some gas. I don't have accurate pre-mileage, but if I recall before my new tires I averaged 15 mpg by the dash computer. We'll see! I'll use the 87 tune first, as it seems the most popular in an auto...and its what I actually run. I've read ppl use the 91 tune with 87 octane, but as mentioned before, someone tried this and tracked his mileage...was a decrease over the 87 tune.
Was impatient at 1am decided to update it and install the new tune. It took over an hour to update the flashpaq itself and retune it. I found the directions generic. My best advice : After you install the updates to the Flashpaq, exit out of the updater program completely - after your reflash of the vehicle log back in to save your VIN and download the TPMS software. If you don't log out, you'll just sit and stare at your screen wondering when stuff will happen. Also, the TPMS software is free, I put it in the checkout area clicked purchase and a message popped up 'sorry, your credit card was invalid." I just closed out the program again, reopened it and it had saved it. So, it was a generic pop up I guess? The logging out will shave a good 15 mins off the 'install' for you.
Haven't driven but 4 miles to drop the boy off at school, but the shift points feel normal again (measured tires reset that and I set the TPMS to 0 - bye bye warning light- finally!)

Had mine for about a month now-- did 87 tune to start off and moved on to the 93. So far happy. I'm getting about 20 mpg on highway and 16 mpg if I average in city driving. I haven't endeavored into the transmission tube yet--not that smart.
What is nice is that when I fill up I see 300 plus when looking at DTE. Pre tune I was looking at 265/270 at most.
The best time I see results is when passing on the highway-in that 2nd/3rd gear range. Not praying as much when I pass or merge!
Does it turn your jeep into a hemi? No...does cost 15,000 dollars? No.
Overall I'm happy with it. Got it from northridge in 2 days thanks to their easy coast warehouse.
