Default Dusy Ershim

I am looking to run the Dusy Ershim the summer of 2015.

Can anybody comment if a off road trailer can make this trip?

People do it. Thompson Hill would probably be the toughest part if your running South to North. The North side gatekeeper could be pretty rough too going either way. There is talk of rebuilding a gatekeeper at Voyager Rock but as it stands right now its steep but not really difficult.

Outstanding...thanks. I am realistic when I run with the trailer there are some hills I may have to winch up parts of it and I am OK with that.

The North end Gatekeeper is off camber and steep over several big boulders. Thinking back it would probably be my biggest worry with a trailer. You might try posting up in the Cencal section. Ed hangs out there and is actually part of the group who helps to maintain the trail so he might have some suggestions for you.

I will hunt "you" down, ha ha ha.

The site was finally fixed a few weeks ago, they are forwarding Dusy questions to me anyway. A small number of people take trailers through the trail, including a friend of mine/former Dusy Chairman. He has to winch a couple times, and try harder in a few spots, but it's worth it to him.

This is going Northbound, you will go down it if you start at Courtright.

Part two, this was on a toilet install trip last October.

This is in the Gatekeeper near the North end of the trail, on the way out from same trip as above. Sorry, don't have a Jeep with a trailer video.
