Default 2017 LED Headlight Retrofit

I'll start by saying I'm well aware of the variety of LED headlight options out there. I'm just curious if the 2017 LED headlights have the same connections as the standard lights, particularly from an older JK like my '08.

We all run the H13 connector so provided the '17 is electrically the same (there's no indication that it would be different) then yes, they'll plug right in. I saw that option when building a new jeep as well and was curious but that's as far as I got.

They also come with their own headlight bucket.. Removing the original buckets looks like a pull and a yank and then pushing on the new ones...

Judging by the lower power draw, I'm guessing they aren't heated. Also, the images just show headlamps--not sure what is meant by the "bucket" remark someone else made. However, there are no install instructions posted up. Which could be because it would be like putting up install instructions for changing any other light bulb. Or could be because Quadratec is a bit ahead of the curve on their readiness to sell these, and their images are misleading.

Quadratec actually put up an install video. I saw these lights in person the other day and they are pretty nice looking.

Why get those when you can get JW Speaker 8700J (plug and play/anti-flicker integrated) LED Headlights and Fog Lights delivered for less?

Just ordered some from wnyaccessoryshop off the forum.

those look like ass. For that price i would just go with jw or pay a lot less and still have a ton of light with trucklite.

They are nuts for charging that much just buy some JW speakers there half the price the hook up is a snap and the light from them is great and unless your traveling the interstates in blizzards they should be fine heck even my old standard OEM lights would get snow packed on them bad weather. But any LED headlight will be a huge improvement over the worm hunters they put on them from the factory
