Default ABS/ESP lights on dash

Hi everyone, I've had an issue over the last little while with the above lights being on in my dash.
Originally, I had intentionally left a replaced speed sensor unplugged because I felt the Jeep drove better in the summer without it. Now I want the ABS to be on in the winter months, so I reconnected the sensor (front passenger side) but, the lights on the dash did not extinguish.
The code that was present was for the driver side rear.
Took it to a mechanic (Jeep specialist) and he scoped it out and said he wasn't getting a signal.
Replaced it but the same thing it there.......ugh !
Anyone have a suggestion? Anyone have a wiring diagram?
Could a fuse be the problem?

Most code readers don't look for abs codes. Are you sure his reader was capable of that?

Yeah. The shop has a new expensive computer that read the same code as my $100 one read. C1020.
I guess I'm at a point where either I spend time tracing the wires or pay someone to do that (prefer the former) but like I said, a wiring diagram would be helpful. I'm sure it's not an intricate system. Sensor on the wheel bearing, wiring to a plug near the rear axle, wiring to the ECM in the engine bay?
It would be nice to get the system running before I'm dealing with ice and snow

Tried the wss that was in the left rear in the opposite rear (passenger side) and the wss was ok . Not sure what the fix is ??? Anyone have ideas or a fix ? Thanks

Well I finally found the problem after much testing and digging . Thru using a factory service manual for the wiring schematics and testing circuits at the 2 main terminal plugs for the ABS module to WSS I found the supply power wire was open , green wire with blue trace . The wire was oped at a factory splice about 24" back from the WSS plug . I repaired the break and now all is good , no fault lights , no codes and my cruise works again along with ABS and ESP etc . Sometimes perseverance and being a retired auto tech pays off . Cheers
