Default adding u connect

On my 07 Jk, my factory head unit has the u connect buttons but no u connect. What's the easiest and cheapest way to add it?

Check this thread. The part # is 82211743AB (mentioned in the thread). My microphone is in the padding of the roll bar which you can see in the thread. Works great.

Subscribed, I'm buying parts or may have parts for sale if I can't get it together.

Which model MyGig do you have? If you do a search on that model + "add Uconnect" I have to imagine someone has figured it out.

Same here. I have a Bluetooth module (uconn?) but need another portion of the wiring and a microphone....I think. Some people say the dealer has to program it, others say they don't. I've seen things work fine that "the dealer has to program"- my cruise control, adding the 130S, changing my clockspring, etc.

Yeah, I just want the Bluetooth added as cheaply as possible. Not looking to spend too much on this...

I believe that if you don't have Bluetooth already, there's not really an inexpensive way to add it but if you do have Bluetooth (think that's the RES 130s instead of the RES 130) all you need to do is add the mic and enable the functionality.

You can try calling navrepair.com. My touchscreen was all flaked and I bought a replacement from them. But I needed help to remove the old screen and when I called them, they were very helpful and knowledgeable. I'd bet that if you asked them what your options are, they'd help you out.

Thanks for the info. Yeah I don't know if its the 130 RES or 139s RES... I have the Bluetooth and unconnect buttons just no functionality.

Ok, so If I have the voice and sat buttons then I have the 130s RES. I think its a few hundred bucks to get the dealer to add it. Not really worth it... I wonder if I can buy parts and do it myself...
