What is the best battery to put into the Jeep? All the gauges and lights on my dash are going crazy and it all started after my battery light came on.

If it is indeed the battery, pretty much any standard group 34-sized battery will work. I run an Optima Red Top in mine simply because they have a 3-yr replacement warranty. But as long as it's a Group 34 and has the proper amount of cold cranking amps (CCA) it should work just fine.

This is a known issue when either the battery goes dead or the terminal connections are loose. Same thing happened to my 2012. Put in the best Walmart battery over a year ago. It's been great. Trouble free. 3yr total replacement warranty. Around $100. The Walmart batt has higher cca than the stock.

The Walmart EverStart Maxx 34S (NOT the 34N) is specifically for high temp areas. 3 years free replacement and 2 years prorated. It's the one I use in Central Florida.

I put a Autozone Duralast Platinum AGM H7 in my old 2012 when the OEM failed abruptly at less then 2 years old. It was a tight fit but had an 80AH rating which was good for the ARB fridge....I think the H6 is a direct replacement....

Cool My Choice

I have put an Optima Yellow Top in all of my Jeeps when the time came. Never had a problem and the one I put in my TJ lasted for six years, and I did a lot of winching (not to be confused with wenching)

Lots of mixed reviews on Optima's these days, since the plant was relocated to Mexico(?). Some people have no problems, I had a red and then a yellow that failed early on me. Went with a diehard platinum this time due to all the great reviews. No issues with it, yet...

Odyssey, Sears die hard, juicebox battery, northstar battery, xs power battery. The last three have really great load capabilities and have been proven to be abused and still keep up.
