My JK doesn't have A/C, and I'm wondering if the air filters would work anyway. I live 3 miles up a dirt road, and hate the fine dust that seems to love settling on the radio and dash plexiglass. If interior air filters work, they will help with this nuisance. Thanks.....
My 2012 Sport JKU didn't come with the cab air filters installed but I was able to get the Mopar part # for them off this youtube video of a cab filter install on a 2011 JKU......Hope this helps you out.

Ditto on using Napa. Local Autozone said they didn't carry cabin filters and didn't feel like paying Dealer price. In & out!

Stench from the vents is usually caused by mold in the area of the evaporator.
May be caused by a plugged drain line.
Sometimes caused by not letting the evaporator dry some before shutting off the engine.

My wife's came with filters. Mine did not so I had to add them. As I understand it, if you have climate control the filters come standard.

When I took my 2013 JKS to the dealer at 15K for an oil change (got 10 free with the purchase), they checked the filters. They said it was hit and miss as to whether a particular vehicle had them or not. I have A/C but not the auto climate control option, and do have the filters. They said I could change them at that point or wait a bit as they didn't look too bad. As I recall, the price did not seem outrageous to me, but I don't remember what it was.

I just replaced mine after 18 months / 33,000 miles and they were pretty dirty. I got a set from Premier Air Filters on eBay for $17.99 shipped. His also come impregnated with carbon, so they will absorb some odor as well.
