Right side of dash doesn't dim? (When Warning Light Illuminated)
I just installed my ARB compressor and in cab switches today and tied into the dimmer wire behind the dash.
I just noticed now that the right hand side of my dash display does not dim.
While trouble shooting, it seems that when I first start the jeep, it's dim, but as soon as the tpms warning comes on, it stops dimming.
I've never noticed this behavior before, and am curious if its normal, or if I screwed something up today.... I recently sold my Procal, so I'm not used to getting the TPMS light.
Do all JKs do this?

yes it is because your tpms warning light is on. mine was like that for a while but when i put sensors in the wheels it went away. my guess is jeep wanted this to happen to make you really notice the warning light.

Will stock sensors work on AM wheels
Will stock sensors work in aftermarket wheels? not familiar with setup as I purchased my jeep with AM and no sensors with the warning light and inablility to dim right side of instument cluster. Its too bright in my opinion

the display stays bright when any warning light in that part of the cluster is illuminated.. does it with the MIL light as well....
it is indeed by design
