Default Dash lights and chiming?

2014 rubicon, dash lights and chiming sound are randomly going on and then right away go off. It seems like sometimes it's just the sway bar light and sometimes it's all of them. Has any one had similar issues? I am bringing it to the dealer being its still under warranty but wanted to try and get an idea of what might be going on before I drop it off. Thanks.

May not be your problem, but when these batteries are going bad whacky stuff can happen with dash lights. Our batteries can suffer near sudden death. The battery in my 2012 died last year and I posted about it. When I jumped the jeep and drove it with the bad battery, the dash lights and speedometer needle were doing random things. Replaced the battery and all was good. Others have posted the same experience as me.

X2. Check the battery and have it load tested before going to the dealer.

Thanks for the input, I hope it's as simple as the battery. Dropped it off last night so we will see what they say. I just hope they don't tell me they can't find anything wrong.

Of coarse, they said they can't find anything wrong with it. They are going to keep it for another day and drive it some more. I am going to be driving this jeep from New Jersey to Colorado then to Moab then back in a august so this really happened at a bad time.

Check the battery terminals. Mine were loose when new and caused the same issue you are having.

I have had the same problem for two years. About every 6 months I have to tighten both battery cable connectors and it goes away. I am planning to switch out the connectors as they are cheap and difficult to keep tight.

Thanks guys, that's exactly what the problem was. The dealer had the jeep for 2 Days and couldn't figure that one out. They should start looking on jk forum to figure out people's problems, they seemed pretty clueless as usual.

Was it loose connections, or battery going bad?
