I searched and couldn't locate the PN of the items to replace on the following TSBs: SB-14-003-12 or SB-14-001-11.

Does anyone have the items to just buy and do it yourself? I think it's just the fuel filler line or just a valve between the vent and tank.

I want compare the price and do it verses having the vehicle sit at the dealer to get done.

It's not easy to get into my dealer. Thank you for any help.

@RonjenX - This is the kind of stuff you typically provide, any luck?

@RonjenX - after more searching on Google, I've found an old post with a PN.

"If you are talking about the fuel spit-back when the tank is full....
The DIY fix is to get the new filler tube, part number CNNNX321AC, for about $40 and install it yourself. It involves a couple of clamps." -RONJENX -JEEPFORUM.com

Do you still suggest this route? The Amazon reviews say it works.

Everything i was told and researched suggested the flapper is within the tank, thus the need for a whole new tank. I called Jeep directly on my '07 and complained to them until they covered it under the '08 replacement.. little phone time = $0 out of pocket...

Ordered mine on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Mopar-MOPAR-CN...NNNX321AC+TUBE

Filled up after install and no spitting, keeping fingers crossed.

Ordering mine now. My 07 has never been replaced. Hope it works for $40. I usually give up trying to fill the tank how it is now.

Just had this done at the dealership again, second time in two months. (first new tube worked right for a few fill-ups, then started spitting again). Both were free of charge due to the warranty extension for this problem. The mechanic also mentioned that they no longer replace the tanks, just this tube which includes a flapper like the one in the tank.

Info from the invoice:

TSB 14-003-12 Replace Fuel Tube

Part# CNNNX321AC Tube-Fuel

Well, I assume it will fix it, my problem is getting gas into the tank anymore. This will not fix that issue. Now seeing if the Evaporative System Integrity Module could be the cause for gas not going in.

Sigh...

I had my tanked replaced which only cured it for a few fill ups. I vowed not to go back to the dealer and swapped the fill line part with the check valve myself in 15 minutes. Problem solved.

Thanks for the link. My '09 started doing this about a month ago. I thought it was pilot error but after researching this it became clear that there is a bigger issue.

Crossing my fingers as well.
