Default Gascap and small evap leak code

So, my 2010 has been throwing the "small evap leak" code as well as illuminating "GASCAP" in the odometer section of my Jeep. I can tell you my gascap is on and tightened, however I do smell a small amount of fuel vapor from the passenger rear side of my Jeep after I park. Has anyone else had this issue, or know of an solution. I am hoping not to have to replace the gas tank.

Here are some specs, 3.5in lift on 35s - I have been running this setup for over two years without any issues until now

Any help would be awesome!

Could be a couple of things. When I had this issue, I replaced the little white can on the back of the evaporated canister and it fixed it. I have read other threads that suggested that the evaporated vacuum lines that run up under the hood next to the battery could have a small leak. OPEN wrapped it in electrical tape to fix it.

I did the smoke test when I kept getting this error. The smoke showed a leaky oil fill cap. I replaced it and no more error.

How did you do the smoke test? Where did you connect the smoke?
