Just bought a 2014 JKURX, same situation as OP. Seat does NOT get hot, and sometimes it feels like it goes off then comes back on again.
My wife in the passenger seat has to turn it off it gets too hot for her. May have to have her drive for once and see how the two seats compare.

My heated seats work fine equally well. Ive been caught in the rain and have hosed the jeep out a few times. I always turn mine off because it gets hot and the gf keeps hers on. Shes always cold or something

So this morning and today at lunch, I thought "well, maybe they are working just fine". But on the drive home tonight, I had to check to see if they were even on. Seems to be sporadic.

2014 JKUR leather seats. Mine don't get very hot but warm enough. All other vehicles that I've owned with heated seats get too hot in my opinion. My jeep seems perfect, not too hot or too cold.

Well I feel stupid now... just found out the heated seats turn themselves down, then off. 30 mins each step.
So the reason I thought they were getting cooler is because they were working as designed!
