2012 JKUR, heated seats worked great until this year. Now, drivers side goes off after 4 secs, like its sensing max temp/time. Passengers seat stays on but does not get hot. Considering swapping out with aftermarket. Any recommendations? Thanks.

2015 Rubicon HR and the heated leather seats barely get warm. Not at all like the other rides I have had. Curious what people are seeing for temps. I can hardly tell they are on!

I have a 2012 and my seats get "toasty" rather quickly. I usually start out on high and within 3 or 4 minutes I have to put them on low so I would say your concerns are valid.

I have a 2013 and my drivers side gets nice and hot on high but the passenger seat barely gives any heat, almost like it doesn't work. I checked all the connections but they are good. Oh well, like I said mine is hot, sux to be the passenger!

I don't have them, I have a cloth interior, but I read on here last year where a guy was claiming that they did not get as hot after he used his programmer on the Jeep, and that after he removed the alteration, they went back to working normally, but as soon as he installed the tune again they got weak.

I did a search, couldn't find the thread anymore, but thought that that might be something for some of y'all to check if you have done a tune.

Hope this helps.

Happy Jeeping.

Anyone know where to get the driver seat bottom replacement heat pad? My back still works but the seat stopped heating a few months back.

I just installed some Ebay seat heaters in the rear seats and it feels like they work better than the oem front elements in my 2013 JKUR with leather. The fronts are only noticeable on high.
