Default HELP! Transmission noise--shifting from R to D and the aftermath

JKU- 2007 Sahara auto w/ 35s & 2.5" TF coil lift. 99.5k miles. Programmed with AEV ProCal to compensate for tire height.

I returned from the gym this AM and put the JK in reverse to back into my garage. About half way up (10' @ most) I hear 2 loud "clunks". I stopped and did a walk around. No leaks. Nothing evident of a failure. Got back in and pulled it into the garage.
Evidently enough, I was going to take her down to ORW this morning to have them inspect the front end as I have been having an issue with a shim in the steering (whole different issue). While in the garage, I place the JK into drive, and hear the transmission move into gear. Curiosity spiked. I cycled the transmission from reverse to drive a few times and found a horrible noise. Once in drive, and out of the garage while traveling down the street, the JK makes a horrible noise while accelerating; something like driving over the washboard on the shoulder of the road. It stops while coasting.

I had my wife cycle the transmission from drive to reverse and vice versa. here's a sound clip. Anyone have any ideas as to what is wrong? Anyone experience this before? Im chicken shit to drive it anywhere too far...

http://youtu.be/ai-reI2w_H8 I had the transmission serviced within 10k miles. The shop claimed there was plenty of metal shavings and would appear it might have been its first service. Its ran smooth since. I only had it services because I noticed the gasket began to leak.

Have you checked the ATF level?

Any service ever done in trans?
Do you use an auxiliary cooler?

Doesn't sound normal to me, either.

What kind of service did you have done? Just maintenance or was there a problem? Filter and fluid? At a dealer or independent shop?
I'm wondering if someone put in fluid that isn't ATF+4.

How does the fluid look? Bright red? Any burnt toast smell?

It was a complete flush. replaced the filter and fluid. At a local shop; ensured it was ATF+4; fluid is clean, bright red...no noticeable smell whatsoever.
