how many miles on your jk

2008 bought new has 45k miles. Off-road about 1/3 of those miles. Replaced PCV valve twice. Burns 1.5 quarts every 4.5 to 6 thousand miles. Replaced EGR valve. Experienced death wobble going 80mph on a trip to the beach and rebuilt the front ends after that. All in all it runs great. Oil burn is a way of life with some vehicles.

'09 ~119,000 miles. Just had water pump, upper oil pan gasket leak, intake manifold leak, and cracked driver exhaust manifold replaced under warranty. Transmission lines were weeping, paid for that on my nickel. Otherwise, she's been a good vehicle to me.
Sent from some string and a few tin cans.

Just went over 50k on my 08 Rubi. Just did both front calipers/pads and rear pads, rotors, and parking brake everything. Just changed all fluids as I've only had the Jeep a year and not sure of What the PO did or didn't do. My oil consumption is about a half quart per 3000miles. I switched to Mobil 1 synthetic and am doing 5000 mile changes.

I have an '08 with 207k miles and original clutch. It burns about a quart about every 1,000-1,500 miles so it's like a perpetual oil change between the scheduled changes. I do most everything myself - oil, brakes, egr, cured death wobble plus misc mods and had the cats replaced a few miles ago. Otherwise, no issues.
