Default Jeep fender rivets

I have to replace a broken side marker lens! I have managed to remove the rivets without breaking them, now my question is how do I reuse them? Or should I go buy regular plastic fender rivets And just use them? Any help would be apreciated!!!

These style are reusable.. the main body of the rivet, will go back through the fender and body. then add the thin straight piece.. push in and your done. You can hold it in your fingers and try it first, to see how it works. These work the same way as the ones in the grill, if you ever have to take it out.

^^^This. I had a few where I had to use pliers to get them fully seated. I put a rag over the jaws of the pliers to keep from gouging them.

If you do decide to replace the rivets, you can buy a kit off Amazon with a tool and a hundred rivets for about the cost of two rivets from the dealership.
