You are going to get lots of advice on this one.

Google MS-9224. Lots of info will come up.

Search this forum for MS-9224. Lots of stuff here, too.

The only 2 products I found that met MS-9224 are Pennzoil and Quaker State Synchromesh. Don't pay any attention to any threads you find where people are talking about buying Synthetic Synchromesh, as far as I know all of the stuff is Synthetic to begin with. BTW Royal Purple Synchromax does NOT meet MS-9224, like estam7655 said Amsoil Synthetic Manual Synchromesh Transmission Fluid is another option that meets spec too.

Time has a funny way of causing everything to show up in Google.

I just now googled "MS-9224", and this thread was the #1 result

I picked up some of the Pennzoil Synchromesh at a local NAPA here in CO for eight dollars a quart.

Last change was 20k ago, fluid came out good as new, as well as the ATF from the T-case.

My local NAPA had Amsoil Synthetic Manual Syncromesh Transmission fluid for $12 a quart, says on the label it meets MS-9224 spec.

From what I understand, one of the "weights" applied to searches on Google involves "personalizing" it to the user. Your cookies tell Google that you visit the forum often so it gives it a higher rank in the results.

Just tossing in another repeat comment....local NAPA was the only place I could find the MS-9224 compatible fluid....Pennzoil and Quaker State.

Edit....I had asked here about how much fluid was needed. From reading other threads....I see anywhere from 1.6 to 1.75 quarts required to fill.
