Mine was 36,320. I paid 30,000 before trade. I got a good trade in too. I traded an 07 HHR Panel with 40k miles and they gave me 8 grand on the trade. Got 1.1% simple interest financing for 48 months too. I got a great deal IMO.

I am a former scummy salesperson at a dealer, here's my advice/assorted protips:

By far knowing when their sales cycles closes is the best weapon... What that means is knowing when their "month" ends, they have targets and quotas to reach and usually have a predisposed amount of wiggle room they'll give according to date. If you go at the end of the cycle they'll blow your mind with discounts and you'll get a chance to see how far a salesperson will go to make the sale. Usually the sales cycle is the calendar month, but some places got wise to the former salesperson tactic of showing up month end so they switch it. There is nothing wrong with asking when it is or even how their commission works, you'd be surprised with how often it happens.

And it also helps to ask for the new guy(if there is one), he won't know what he/she can or cannot do and will go farther to make a sale. Also, if you're male going in by yourself stay far away from the female salesperson (she'll stick it to u and make u think it was your idea), if you're going in as a couple and the jeep is for u, have your significant other do the talking. Plan ahead, do your research and know exactly what u want, especially what u don't want... They'll do everything they can to swat(sell whats available today). Even if a jk is your only goal its good to know what the other options are so u can compare them...

As an example, I got my '12 JKS at the end of the cycle from a rookie saleswoman (who was hot and probably would've talked me into a corvette), I messed with her for weeks after visiting other dealerships and playing them off each other. At the time there was a national bonus, plus $2k off from her, undercoat with electronic rust bs and $500 accessory bonus (instead of oil change bs they offered), hoss organizer thing from best top. Msrp was $27, I walked out with just over $21, including finance, plus goodies... In Canada

I would love to actually see someone in here who says they got 10k off actually post the proof. They must be dying to sell jeeps wherever you're at...
