Need Help.... Radio is completely dead, no idea what happened
sorry if im re-posting this, but havent seen a thread for the stock radios....
this may have something to do with the leak in my hardtop (on the passenger side) but i got in my car the other day, and the radio was completely dead... i checked fuses, the wire to the radio from the battery... and i have no idea what else it would be. I was told today if i disconnect the battery for about 5 minutes or so and connect it back, it MAY work... but has this happened to anyone else?
it is a stock radio, on a 2012 jk sport... no water has leaked onto the radio itself (when it rains out) but i could be missing something really easy, or until i buy a new radio for $500!
any input could be great, thanks guys

What kind of radio is it that is malfunctioning? Stock radios go for much cheaper than $500.

UPDATE:
just got it fixed. i guess the wires got wet from a leak in the hardtop. Radio replaced for 200 bucks at a junk yard, and all new wires. works like a charm!
