What programmer is best value for the money, heard that there are programmers out there that will even adjust fan on-off values, fan speeds at different temps for extra cooling along with shift points etc. when TOWING,

I have 373 gears and max tow package, looking for time proven programmer with the most options available.

I know Procal module is very popular but is limited............................ looking for more!


I tow my boat a lot I am a charter captain.

superchips trail dash is what I have on mine and it works very well. I have 3.73's and 305/70/16 bfg mud terrains (about 32.5" tall) and pull my 22.5ft bay boat around plenty with my 2 door. one thing I will say is my overdrive is useless but it pulls it very nicely out of overdrive

I run the superchips flashpaq . It has a tow setting. I have a '08 with 3.73 auto and 295/75-18 . I helps quite a bit on the tow setting. It has a lot of options and i tow a 20' camper

As far as I know the only difference in the trail dash and the flash paq is the non tuning related stuff the trail dash does and the crawl tune. The trail dash doubles as a monitor/ switches and many other things while the flash paq just tunes

The OP has a 2012. Do the programmers work to change the tune on the pentastar systems? I didn't think programmers were available for tune changes on 2012+.

As far as I know they do, I have heard they aren't as effective on a 3.6 as a 3.8
