Me and a friend jacked it up and spun the tires around. His dad said it may be a bearing. Thoughts?

Can you tell if it's coming from a hub or the center of the rear end. If it sounds like it's near the hub then a bearing could be a possibility.

I'm not positive because I could hear it from both sides of the jeep. Wasn't super loud but got louder as I rotated it faster in neutral

Do it again , use a stethoscope --screwdriver / a piece of hose- to determine where its coming from .

When is the last time you opened up the drum back there, or checked out the E brake? I'm starting to think that might be culprit.

One of these may prove useful. They work surprisingly well at isolating noises ...

I have had this sound in the rear of my 2 door for well over three years. Maybe longer. Same exact symptoms. No issues though with it getting worse, louder, etc. Hopefully someone can pinpoint it, and maybe I will try and fix mine. Or just let it keep making the noise until something breaks. My Jeep makes so many noises that I just keep the radio up anytime I am in, or around it. Haha
