Default Reparing a scraped hard top

so I was climbing a boulder, slid sideways and got a little friendly with the wall. I would like to learn how to fix this because it will probably happen again.

There are several videos on Youtube that can guide you through it. I could type it all out but it would take forever. Just watch the videos and buy good quality resin, not the cheap stuff

It's not very deep. Can I just throw bondo on it or do I need to add fiberglass to it?

Bondo wouldnt be my first choice but hey, its your Jeep lol. I would just saind a couple inches all around it and clean it REALLY well with Mineral Spirits or alcohol before you do it. No guarantee it will bond with the fiberglass though
