Default Replacing exhaust manifolds... OEM or third party?

My driver's side exhaust manifold is comprehensively cracked. I know this is common and maybe people have had to deal with this out of warranty. I'm curious to know if people have been going with factory replacements or aftermarket parts?

Thanks!

Don't know what the stock replacements cost, but...

Take a look at the headers from RIPP (and the programmer that needs to go with them),

Sorry, I should have mentioned that headers are not an options I'm considering.

Thanks!

No option other than OEM, then.

I need to decide between this and an OEM part from Chrysler.

Thanks for the link. It has an OEM part number, so I wonder if it is the same manufacturer as the one that came on the JK.

Mine is making all kinda of racket before it warms up. Not sure if I want to replace it myself or see if the dealer will warranty it but I am sure I will have a deductible so for under 100 bones I should just replace it myself just incase they don't use my original manifold ...

The exhaust manifolds are part of the smog equipment and must be changed by the dealers.

Did you buy your 2007 JK new? If so, was it after July 26, 2007?

Where did that information come from? I can't see that being fact.
