SPOD and Smittybilt GEAR overhead console
Anyone here have a SPOD setup and tried to install an overhead Smittybilt GEAR tactical overhead storage counsel?
Im just wondering if it will fit with the SPOD switches up there. It looks like it might but it would be nice to her from someone who has tried it before I buy it.

yes, I saw your write up. Looks like its been a year and a half ago but was still a bit confused how you did it. You are using a hose clamp and zip ties to hold the front up? How has that held up? How much modification did you have to make to the Smittybilt bracket?

Smittybilt overhead console with SPOD in 2015 JKU
I have also been interested in doing this but in reviewing the post with pictures I noted that your footmans loop is more centered then the one in my 2015 JKU. My SPOD is notched on the left side to make room for the off centered footmans loop. Knew I would have to make some mods to the console frame to account for the SPOD but didn't realize their was a difference in locations of the footman loops.
