Default Steering question

Ok, I live in the PNW. Some of our highways have pretty good ruts from big rig traffic. My jeep is an 07 4 dr jk. The tires are 33x12.50r17's. It runs and drives straight, no vibration, shakes, or shimmies. But my question is, when I change lanes, sometimes the jeep just jerks into the lane. The steering is tight, but is this normal? I don't believe my jeep is lifted, but if it is its not a huge lift..... I think it just looks taller because of the 33's.

I would suggest being a little more gentile with the wheel while making lane changes. That should take care of your problem quite well.

I run my tires at about 30 psi to get even wear, otherwise the centers wear faster. As for the steering wheel, I'm always gentle with my turns, I've driven tractor trailer most of my life.
