Default Crown

I just found the Crown manifold and gasket on JC Whitney for $70 and free shipping. Given the Dorman blocks a port, I am not buying that brand.

Before I buy a new manifold and deal with rusted bolts, I removed the heat shield and found this sizable crack. Only 39K miles. I bought QuickSteel for $9 and it's now setting for 4 hours to cure. Hopefully at 6:30ET when I turn the key, it will hold and sound normal again. Thanks for the posts that helped me thus far!

Given the factory 5 year/100k mile powertrain warranty, I assume the original exhaust manifolds last at least that long, right?

Lol! Mine made it about six years and 45k. It has the lifetime power train warranty, but Jeep had something like 400 on back order, with a six week estimate for delivery.

I'd give it 24 hours to cure. Mine held ok until I removed it from the head.
