Default Stock foglight replacement bulb for a 2010 - why can't I find one?!

Anyone have some insight on this? I don't want to be raped by a the dealership installing a new one. Bought what I thought was the right bulb online but doesn't fit. Went to Autozone and Pepboys and both were well aware that they don't carry any bulbs that fit JK fog lights.

How can this be such a pain in the ass?

I just need to replace the stock bulb.

Thanks

Autozone and Pep Boys are full of it. I have an '09 and I've already replaced mine. I'm on vacation right now and don't have the info in front of me, but look in your owners manual....the size should be in there.

You are quite right.
I bought the Vision X replacement lights and I am very happy with them.
Check them out.

I use Sylvania Silvertar's. Available at most auto parts stores. Sylvania part # 9145. I use Silvertstars in my fogs, and silverstar ultra's in my headlights. Much brighter whiter light than oe.

2010's, like a previous poster stated, use a DIFFERENT bulb. The #9145 will NOT work.

To the OP: another place, although online, is Amazon. This is where I had to order mine. I now have a spare set, along with complete spare fogs.

After researching the differences between ('07-09) 9145 and ('10-12) 24W driving light bulbs; I decided to upgrade and use the Putco 3000K yellow halogen foglights.
When researching these bulbs I discovered that you need to verify which bulbs you are purchasing since there are bulbs for the headlights and foglights. If you purchase the headlight bulbs; you may risk melting the outer plastic lense.
When installing the bulbs; two of the alignment notches on the outside of the light electrical connector needs to be removed with a file or small wire cutters to allow it to be inserted into the factory harness connector.
There is a noticeable difference in the amount of light projected when using them in the fog.
