The push nut is a great idea. Do you happen to know the size of the bolt/thread.

If the pins are still sticking down, look and see the approximate diameter. Get some push nuts that will fit on them tight enough to stay after you push them on. Thread pitch isn't important as the nuts will grab as you push them on. I'm pretty sure Lowe's and Home Depot have them. I got mine from an auto paint store that also has body work supplies.

Got 65K on my stocker, but going to go with Flowmaster American Thunder series to try and get that big silver can out of harms way when off-road. Otherwise I'm sure it will last quite a while.

I have an 08 which I painted with engine paint in 09 & it currently has a rusted hole in it without any major noise change so. It's good to go still.

my stock 2014 one had 53000 miles and was still good but I replaced it with an aFe scorpion and man o man do I like it. Perfect sound not loud no drone just a nice deep sound that really sounds good when you get on it.

I took mine off 2009, at 108k, for an LS swap. It's still in great shape.
