Default Stock wheel width ?

How do you find out what the width is on a stock 17" wheel? Thanks.

I believe 7.5". Are you looking got some wheels?

Actually, trying to decide on tire size. What wheels do u have and at what price? thanks.

if look at tires in the 315/75/R17 range they will measure out to about a 35.

I use this tire conversion calculator a lot https://tiresize.com/calculator/ . Plug in your current tire size and it will tell you the height and width. Then you can start changing numbers to get what you want.

Trying to figure how wide a tire I can use on the stock 17" wheel. Thanks.

I have some Commander wheels and has some scratches on it. Cheep, but I see your are in the Bahamas. Same as a stock wheels that are 17". 35 x 12.5 x 17's look awesome on those wheels and I have seen 37's and not sure I would go that big.

315's are a lie.....no tire is measuring up to the advertised height. My 315/70-17 bfg's are advertised as 34.4" and they're a solid 33.5"--- brand new.

I've been running 37s on stock moabs for 4 years no issues.

I wonder why your measurement is different than mine for the same tire? I know you're using a narrower wheel, than my 17x9's but wouldn't that make it taller?

I'm between 33 3/4 to 34 mounted under the vehicle. 34.4" on the spare.
