Default Tpms ?

I have a question about the Tire Pressure Monitoring System on the JK. If I remove the sensors, will the lite on the dash come on? If so, is this a permanent lite or is there a way to turn it off permanently?

Thanks in advance.

Yes. You need a programmer to shut it off. As I understand it, you have to change the pressure threshold to zero.

You can disable it with a AEV Procal, then disconnect Battery for a little while. Then the display will
Not show back up on instrument cluster..

I'm hoping this works on a 2014. I know some things about the computer are different. I guess if it doesn't, I can always have the TPMS sensors put in the aftermarket wheels.

Yep. Thanks. Did it yesterday after putting on the new, non-TPMS wheels.

I use the AEV Procal and don't remember having to disconnect the battery. What is that for?

I didn't have to, but in the Procal manual, it says you may have to, if something doesn't work the first time. See page 3 under Speedometer Recalibration.
