Default Not Sure What this is - Over Revving...

Not sure if this is an issue, and if there's some known fix:

When i go to accelerate, at times there will be a delay, with a major engine rev up to 5000 RPM, and then it will accelerate.

Doesn't happen all the time but i've noticed this pretty much since i bought the Jeep - but couldn't reproduce for the mechanic.

Thoughts?

Default Question about Service Bulletins?

Do the dealerships fix the Service Bulletins for free? How does that work?

I
Is a service bulletin and the thing from the NTSB different things? I have problems with mine cranking and dealer said they have a service bulletin that came out when it was built, but it would cost me about a $1,000.00 , I'm living with it

I just looked at AllData, which is usually up to date on recalls and TSBs. Didn't find anything on the subject.

there is no specific tab. They recently sent a letter to the owners of the effected vehicles which indicates coverage for 150k or a given time. They won't repair/replace anything until it throws a code.
