Default Turning off the factory alarm?

Last night I pulled up in my driveway and turned off my 2011 JKU MT to go inside but then I noticed a red dot blinking when I got out. I've done some research on what it is and apparently it's the factory alarm system. I must have jiggled my key fob weird when I pulled it out of the ignition slot.

Anyways, does anyone on here have some intel on how I go about turning this off? I'm sure there some crazy key fob puzzle I need to do while the key is in the ignition switch.

The red light isn't necessarily the alarm but rather the SKIM (sentry key immobilizer module) letting you know something is up. I had it blink at me when I cut a key but didn't program it. It also occasionally blinks when I use the remote start (no key physically present in the ignition).

It's forsure the alarm system. After it blinks 16 times quickly, I'll open the door and the alarm with go off. I just need to know how to disable it.

Will the key fob not disarm it?

There are only 3 buttons on the key fob: unlock, lock, and panic

Unless I have to do something specific with the key fob, I can't use it to disarm it.

Just press unlock on key fob and it unlocks the doors and disables the alarm

Yes, but how do I fully disable the alarm system. I don't want it engaging every time I lock my Jeep.
