I use a Superwinch winch and they are top quality winches a little cheaper than Warn. Just installed the one pictured below. I mounted a Viair compressor under the hood for $80. I don't have a tank though. <img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=647571"/>
Thanks for the advice Jeep801, I'm still debating also like you mentioned repair wise which would be cheaper to fix combo or separate. By any chance can you take a pic of the compressor under the hood to see how you mounted it. Thanks

Here's a pic. I made the bracket out of a strip of aluminum that I had kicking around. I used an existing bolt on the Jeep to mount. Very simple. You could hard wire it but I just ran the cord to the battery and clip them on when needed.

Nice little setup and thanks for the pic. I was looking under the hood last night in my garage and was thinking about that same spot. Hopefully the ARB compressor fits their also. Lol

I know! It's tight in the engine compartment. Good luck with your setup. Posts some pics when done.

Well guys I can't complain about this when I got home, this is what was waiting for me in the living room that my wife surprised me with the winch. Zeon 10,000 cable it's all good cause I'll change it to synthetic later on when needed. On that note I just place the Order on the Poison Spyder Brawler lite front bumper to go along with the winch so let the upgradings begin...lol Click image for larger version

I jst got the ZEON 10S and am very please with how it came out. I have the PowerPlant on m Duramax and like it,but didn't think it necessary here. Additionally, I was a tight enough fit as it was; shoe-horning that big winch in the bumper would have been a nightmare.

Default Tight but good

Here is a pic of my installation of the PowerPlant in my 10A.

Tucked into the frame rails for even pulls with minimal encroachment of the air flow through the radiator.

That's a nice set up Eugene, I'm waiting on my PS brawler lite bumper to come in so I can mount my set up already.
