Default why do wranglers take the spare tire mount off??

I don't know if its a Miami thing or what... but Why 90% of the wranglers in Miami remove the spare tire mount completely ?? is a trend ?? any gain? by the way the wrangler are mostly stock, or just tires and lift... but no bumper or huge tires that could not fit with the oem carrier

is just out of curiosity

Even with just a 34" on my tire carrier, it began rattling here and there. Now it rattles with every bump. Maybe they just are waiting for a swing out tire carrier bumper combo.

Sometimes for departure angle, most of the time because they don't like how it looks. I removed mine in wait of an Or-Fab Tire Carrier.

People do it for looks. Until they end up needing it If you have ever blown a tire you know to never leave your spare.

I dont know a lot about Miami, however a lot of people take them off to keep other people for taking them off for them. Stealing spares is a full time job for some people.

A lot of people just lock it to the mount with a cable lock.

Maybe they only bought 4 rims and didn't want the back one to not match so they take it off. Personally I'd rather wait till I have enough money to get all 5.
