I have a 2017 JKU Sahara with hard top. I was looking at soft tops and trying to avoid paying the price of a new one, I have come across a few that are used. They are from a 2014, 2012 and 2011 JKU. Do you know if any of those years will fit the 2017? I would prefer something on the "newer" side. Also are there are differences with the tops from 2011 and on?

There was a slight change made along the way....can't recall if it was 2012 when they changed engines or a different time, but as long as you have the proper surrounds for the top, anything '07 and up should work. Any used top that you purchase should be sold along with the corresponding surround pieces that are needed.

I believe they changed the way the door surrounds and top connect around on the 2011 and newer, a change in the premium top for 2013 which went to a triple layer and have heard that the header footman loops where the latches clamp down may have been moved outward a bit on the 2015 and newer but not positive. IMO get a newer premium soft top they are a little quieter and look better.
