What if they were knocking on the window to tell him "Mr. _______ we just got word that the manufacturer IS going to cover your repair under warranty."

And then he was like......"oh....OK then.....let me pull back out into the service area"

LMAO.....what a madman!

Default the tag on mine says 4.00

Attachment 305528as the post before me said the same 4.00 i assume this is normal for a 2012
rubicon 2 door ,? i called parts they say that it should say 4.00 not 4.1 the axles are 410s and the transfer case should say 4.00 not a exact match of 4.1 dont realy understand that however the op said tag should read 4.1 and to let others know it will read 4.00 on the tag for proper transfercase

I'm pretty sure 4.00 is a 4:1 ratio which is what's expected with the rubi case. If it was the 2.72 that would be 2.72:1.

So, yeah, the tcase tag should say 4.00. The original OP (I think) just used a . instead of a : for the ratio signifier.

lets say if the axles were swapped or transfer case in your case no pun intended. Is there any way to trace it to what vehicle it came out of?

I know this is an old thread so sorry for bringing it btt. I looked at my Tcase and it also says 4.0 no damper? I assume the damper version is used on the manual transmission, I have an automatic.
