great idea on lockingthe hood.. never thought about that one.. but with batteries and computers in these things...

ive been hitting the local craigslist indeed.. otherwise thats what insurance is for.. I carry a great policy

It's sad that in some places crime is a good business. It's why I don't like living in the city, I rather spend as much time and effort worrying about securing things and do something more fun. Unfortunately I live in one of the largest cities right now. It's good to know that even stock stuff just ain't safe but I'm sure it was some loser who is so pitiful that they are so down on their luck this is the best they can do to get what they want or need. Hopefully it i s Christmas for their kids and not more drugs that don't help anyone.

Sorry for your loss. a plier of vise grips will remove most locks.

If you claim it on insurance make sure you tell them if it has the TPM system. Same thing happened to my sister and I had to remind here about the tpm so insurance would replace it as well.

Why claim on your insurance when you can usually find spares or 1 rim & tire and TPMS for about $150

Heck probably the one taken from your Jeep
