Yeti 35 and 2 Door trunk "space"
Was wondering if the Yeti 35 will fit in the back of a 2 door. Wanting to be able to keep it with me all the time. I know there is a hump but the yeti isn't long enough so that won't be an issue concerned with the spacial requirement from the tailgate to the rear seat and how it tapers. The yeti requires 15 inches for that space.
Thanks

I can't answer your specific question. However, have you considered the Ozark Trail coolers from Walmart? I have their 52 quart cooler and it fits perfectly in the back of my 4-door JKU. Quality of the Ozark Trail coolers is right up there with Yeti at half the price. They have a 26 quart for $96 and the 52 quart is $147.

Get a Yeti Hopper 30. Soft cooler holds ice well. I have a Yet Hopper 20. Ridiculously priced in my opinion. We also have 4 Yeti cups. Not that it would fit but I have a Pelican 65qt I would put it up against any Yeti and a good bit cheaper.

yeti is an overpriced status symbol. The Ozark trail cups and high performance coolers are on par with yeti. Their 20oz cup costs less than $8. I had the yeti hopper 20 and hated it. It would be good for a canoe trip, but sucked for camping. I precooled the hopper with ice for over 24 hours. I then loaded it with food and ice. The cooler sat in the shade of my REI tent canopy. In about 30 hours every piece of ice had melted. I returned the hopper and got my $$ back. It is not good for storage more than one summer day. It would be horrible inside a hot vehicle.

I'll have to pull down the cooler but I've got a Coleman extreme (5 day ice cooler) and it fits behind the seat. Bonus is that you can slide it out without removing the rear window if you need to add ice or food.

they have new hoppers out now. The whole top zips open. Though I think only a small version is available like this. I know what your talking about. In the short time I had the hopper 20, I found it very difficult to add or remove food items due to stiffness of the opening.
