FYI, before u make your decision on the synergy bars be sure to look at the installation instructions. They are quite a bit of work and does require some plastic cutting. However if done right they do look better(actually looks stock) then the grabars. I went with the grabars for the easier install, didn't wanna cut the pillers. Think u will be happy with either, good luck with your decision!

I have the synergy handles and am really happy with them. They require a tall notch in the pillar plastic, in stead I drilled out a large enough hole to get the bars through. Very clean look and real stout

I like the Paracord handles - you can either buy them pre-made OR better, make them yourself (not that hard) and in any color you want.

Check out JK-RIGRIP on ebay. I'm quite happy with mine. No drilling or cutting required. They are extremely sturdy. I can shake the jeep without any movement from the handles.

This is exactly what I did as well. Looks great.

The handles should be the same for all JKs regardless of year, unless there were changes to the A-pillars that I am unaware of..
