Sorry Dawg I did not answer your question on how high. I have not measured but I am guessing closer to 2.5 or more. Before and after with 255's in both pics <img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=546234"/><img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=546235"/> Next to a Moab 4 door with 255's on both <img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=546236"/> Next to one how mine sat with 225's and 16" wheels <img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=546237"/> This one I'm next to has 2.5" BB with 285's <img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=546238"/> Hope this helps

The screen I got on clearance for $15. Those dingle balls I call them are cheep at hf. If you look for cupins hl knocks down about 1/2 price for gromments. Ill try to find brand of screen. Lowes also has a pet screen that would be nice to try. This screen i have blocks out quite a bit of the uv rays.

Picked up the shade today. I had trouble with the seam. I think if I sewed it to nylon webbing it would hold up pretty good but probably just going to buy a Spidershade since I need one for my trip next week. I might use the fabric for rear window shades so my son can't throw things out.
