Current Project- 2012 Jeep Wrangler JK
This customer is always on a new adventure, as he travels all around the US and Canada to kayak. As part of the trip, he needs to access trails where there are no utilities. At times like that, he solely depends on his 2012 Jeep Wrangler JK. To ensure his Jeep can endure various types of terrain, The 4x4 Place has added some modifications over the past year.
Modifications so far includes:
-4.88 Gearing
-ARB Lockers
-ARB Compressor (including tire inflation kit)
-Rubicon Express 3 1/2" Lift
-35" Tires on M/T Wheels
-AEV ProCal
-Strengthened the front axel assembly
-Axel were sleeved and Axel Cs had trusses welded in
Exterior Alterations and Armor Include:
-Front and rear bumper
-Warn Winch with synthetic rope
*Snatch block
*Tree Saver
For bottom protection we added skid plate's for:
*Transmission
*Gas tank
*Engine
Last but not least, he also had a very impressive full roof rack installed to transport his kayak from location to location safely.
Thank you for looking at part of our adventure!

That is REALLY nice!
I like building to a purpose. He figured out what he needed the Jeep to be capable of and you guys made it happen. Cool.
Regards, CW

Hal's '14 JKU
Hal's 2014 Jeep JKU is a currently a street vehicle with a variety of off-road capabilities.
-3.5" Rubicon Express Lift kit
-M/B Tires
-456 Gears
-AEV Geometry correction bracket:
-AEV High steer conversion:
*Raising the track-bar where it attaches to the front axle, the roll-center is brought closer to the center of gravity. (Minimizes the degree of force the body has over the springs, thereby reducing body-roll.)
*Raising the steering drag-link where it attaches to the steering knuckle, bump-steer is avoided and steering precision increased.
*Steering damper to help minimize road shock to the steering wheel caused by heavy tires.
-AEV ProCal
• Correct speedometer
• "One touch" turn signals
• Clear engine codes
• Easy to use DIP switches
• Recalibrate tire pressure monitor
• Increase engine idle speed
• Optimize ESP performance
• Transfer Case calibration
-Bilstein Shocks
-5100 series Wheel spacers
-Spare tire relocation bracket

Mike's 2013 JKU Rubicon
Mike brought us his bone stock Rubicon to be designed to look appealing.
He also required that it be a vehicle that could handle trails to a good fishing hole or to play in the mud.
I think we fulfilled his request.
-Rubicon Express Super-Flex 3.5" System
The 3.5" Super-Flex system features great ride quality and phenomenal performance. Features include new Rubicon Express adjustable upper and lower control arms with their serviceable Super-Flex spherical ball joints, new lift springs, extended bump stops, longer front and rear stainless steel brake lines.
-Toyo 37"x13.5-20 Open Country M/T tires
-Fuel Offroad Wheels; Maverick -D538 20x10 Deep Lip
-AEV Rear Bumper
-AEV Spare tire carrier
-AEV ProCal
-G2 5.13 Gears
-AEV 3rd Brake Light
