Really? Installed correctly? I have the same King 2.5" remote reservoir shocks on my '12 Rubicon and the lower shock mount attaches to the stock mount. Care to elaborate why your's are mounted angled inwards?

Please don't question DRC. He is a "specialist" with Jeeps. He is probably way too far advanced with his techniques to be able to explain it in "layman's" terms anyway. He is the BEST with the MOST on the WESTCOAST! BABAY!!! Fo shizzle.

Looking at E-man's install pic, DRC had to work HARD to get it wrong! How hard could it be to get it in the right place?????

Only thing I can think of is that the instructions that came with that G2 front axle or with the Projunk lift kit told them to mount the shock that way. I too am really scratching my head on this one.....

Just because a piece of paper said to do it doesn't always mean it's correct.

Probably has tighter mounts on the aftermarket housing, or the bolt holes are angled for better alignment and the bottom of the king shock wouldn't fit, so this was the half assed solution. No matter what, it's gotta be hitting the frame mounted like that.

Ding ding ding!! I think AaronJK is the winner! Probably wasn't easy enough or fast enough for DRC. Probably was a little tight of a fit with fresh powder coating. Instead of KNOWING it was supposed to go a certain way, decided that because it probably didn't fit with butter EASE, it COULDN'T FIT BETWEEN THE TABS! So therefore it MUST be mounted to the side and the crush sleeve that is SUPPOSED TO GO INSIDE THE SHOCK MOUNT is used to keep from "crushing"'the tabs! OMG! Very stupid and lazy. Honestly. I think one of the VERY FIRST MODS I EVER INSTALLED WAS SHOCKS. I was probably 15 yrs old and had my license about two months. Gabriel Highjackers! I know I did it myself, CORRECTLY, because my dad said he wouldn't help me "screw up" my Camaro. I probably used Cressent wrench and a screw driver.....and STILL MOUNTED THEM CORRECTLY!

I can hear it now (DRC)" yeh bra...I'm a specialist...just check out my HUGE thread on my JK forum". "It has the most posts of any thread other than keep a word change a word, bra". (Customer) "Sweet yo! So can I get dem dope 24's to camber on my Jizz-eep?" (DRC) "Fo sho, Fo sho...I am a Jeep Lux specialist" (customer)" How many "stacks"?" (DRC)" well the punisher cost my home boy 80 "stacks", but it should have been way more! But, for you, since now we know how to do it better in a fraction of the time...20"stacks"!"

Lol. Yes. I AM a asshole. And?.....
