Mounting Hints - Cobra 75 WX ST

Need some ideas -

where have yall mounted the "main" box (w/ the antenna connection)
and have you all mounted the mic connection

Box got zip tied behind the glove box and the mic holder is from Cool Tech.

i found some similar examples & photos - mounted mine there too & then cut a hole under the glove box for the
plug/connection.

ive ordered the cooltech mic holder (version 2).

im in the process of doing the same. Did you guys run power to the battery (+) and ground to a chassis bolt?

on mine i picked up power off the back side of the dash (power point / socket) & used chassis as my ground.
the power outlet / socket in the dash is a SWITCHED outlet, key off, power off.

Run both leads all the way back to the battery.

Did the cool tech and went of power of power point and don't have to woory about dead battery.
